A few weeks ago, Twitter introduced a new analytics
dashboard for advertisers, card publishers and users. The dashboard provides
detailed data on one’s tweets. This feature is not new, however. Earlier,
Twitter offered this high-level data analysis for promoted tweets only. There was
an option to see the analysis of normal (or organic) tweets as well. However,
this was rather basic and not as powerful as the recently released feature.
So, what is the benefit of this feature? The improved dashboard
can provide significant insights into the performance of your organic tweets.
You can learn the number of times users have seen and engaged with your organic
tweets. From the main dashboard, users can see the number of impressions per
tweet. Clicking on any one of the posts will display more information such as
the number of clicks, replies and re-tweets received by the post.
Based on this data, you can determine what works and what does
not, thereby allowing you to optimize your content strategy. For those who like
to play with this data, Twitter offers the ability to export the normal and
promoted tweet analysis as a CSV file.
Twitter can help businesses connect with their target
audience. If you are not advertising on Twitter, you have no idea how much you
are losing out on. Sky High SEO can help you get the most out of this platform.
